TWO Dorset students are celebrating after graduating from university.
Chris Powell, from Blandford, and Peter Woodford, from near Sherborne, both graduated from Shropshire’s Harper Adams University.
Chris, who is 27, graduated with a BSc (Hons) Rural Enterprise and Land Management degree.
At a prize giving held on the day, Chris was presented with the Fisher German Prize.
The prize is awarded for a group assignment as part of a final year module in rural asset strategy and management. The group’s citation read: “The group worked very well as a team and the report and presentation were very professionally put together.
“The presentation was exceptional and overall the judges stated that group had prepared an excellent piece of work and in fact stood out from the others.”
Peter graduated with a BSc (Hons) Business Management with Marketing degree.
The 25-year-old was presented with the Spearhead Prize for being part of the group which attained the highest mark for the Management Consultant Project.
