Someone asked me if I knew of a knitting group in Littlemoor. I said I didn’t think there was but it would be a great idea to form a group of knitting enthusiasts where they could knit and chat, swap patterns etc., in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with plenty of tea and coffee on hand.
Not wanting to exclude those who cannot knit but would love to learn it would include both beginners and experts.
The library has kindly offered the use of its facility when it isn’t open. All we need now is a few volunteers willing to teach others this useful art and of course those of you who’d like to join.
If you are interested then please contact me by phone (leave a message if I don’t answer) or email and we will try and organise a time and date to suit everyone.
For all younger readers who completed the summer Creepy House reading project, your certificates are ready to collect from the library. Also half term activity sheets are now available and this year’s theme is Spooky!.
