A PRANKSTER has made their feelings known about Prince Charles’ model development of Poundbury with their own addition to a road sign.

Motorists heading to the Monkeys Jump roundabout at the weekend may have noticed an unusual new insertion on the local direction sign as they headed from the football stadium roundabout.

As well as signs to Martinstown, Winterbourne Abbas, Bridport, Charminster and Stratton, next to the exit marking for Poundbury the unknown mischief maker had added the words ‘Ugly Buildings’.

The move appears to be a comment on the architectural merits of the development at Poundbury.

Margaret Morrisey from the Poundbury Residents’ Association said: “If you don’t like it there’s no need to be rude, it’s some people’s home so grow up.”
