The Overcombe corner roundabout is in – what purpose does it serve?

Large and small vehicles are just going over it and not around it. It seems to have made no difference at all.

A friend who lives in the area asked a councillor the point of it, and he was met with a very hostile response.

Can we please have a definitive reply by the council as to why this was done using tax payers’ money.
