Elaine has now recovered from her hand operation and has now resumed her "Energise with Elaine- Exercise for the over 50's/Fit as a Fiddle". We are pleased to see her return to full health and resume her classes. If you would like to join in with her exercise group, which aims to improve health balance strength and mobility in a fun relaxed and social atmosphere. All abilities are catered for. You can try out for free and future sessions cost £5.00 each. The class takes place on Tuesdays from 1 until 2pm. If Tuesdays are no good for you there is also "Stretch Relax and Breathe" a course of gentle exercise and meditation which is run by Anna on Mondays from 9.45 until 11.45

The Waterside Singers are still singing away on Mondays from 1pm. New members are always welcome. You dont need to read music, just enjoy singing. There are some light exercises at the start of each session.
Short Mat Bowls takes place on Tuesdays 10 - 12 and again 7pm - 9pm.
The recent "Lets Make It" projects were very successful and one in particular where our community (and others) knitted poppies to raise money for the Royal British Legion. There will be a presentation of the money raised, with Richard Drax, Councillor Joy Stanley and Ian Jarvis from the Royal British Legion at Cafe 123, The Esplanade , Weymouth on Friday March 8 2013 from 11.45. All who knitted poppies are invited along.
