WYKE REGIS It’s here again! Wyke Christmas brightens our day on Sunday December 9, from 12 noon to 4.30pm. Visit Father Christmas in his Grotto from 2pm to 4pm, and be royally entertained by Wyke Junior School Choir, Bagatelle Choir, Mummers, The Easthope Sisters, and Juno Belly dancers. There will be lots of new stalls, as well as the regular favourites. Check out the pedal-powered PA.

LANEHOUSE A tabletop sale in November raised a wonderful £173 for St Edmund's. This was a great result as it was the first time that St Edmund’s has run such an event. Congratulations – and thanks from all at St Edmund’s – to organizers Julie Norris and Maxine Legg.
LANEHOUSE Sing Carols by Candlelight at Lanehouse Rocks Methodist Church, Lynch Lane, on Monday December 10, at 7pm. Come and sing your favourite carols, bring a poem, reading or short story to share with others. There will be coffee and mince pies to follow. Entrance is free but there will be a collection for Action for Children. All are welcome.
WESTHAM The Christmas Bazaar at St Paul’s was a huge success. A phenomenal £2170 was raised. More people than ever turned out to support the event. The Beechcroft St Paul’s school choir were fantastic, as were the June Hornby Dancers. Lots of toys, books, plants, bric-a-brac, teas, cakes and sweets were sold. There were tombolas and draws and Father Christmas was the most popular person there.
