A tabletop sale on November 17 raised a wonderful £173 for St Edmund's. This was a great result as it was the first time that St Edmund’s has run such an event. Congratulations – and thanks from all at St Edmund’s – to organizers Julie Norris and Maxine Legg.
The Christmas Bazaar at St Paul’s was a huge success. A phenomenal £2170 was raised. More people than ever turned out to support the event. The Beechcroft St Paul’s school choir were fantastic, as were the June Hornby Dancers. Lots of toys, books, plants, bric-a-brac, teas, cakes and sweets were sold. There were tombolas and draws and Father Christmas was the most popular person there.
