SEARLE Brian Charles Passed away peacefully aged 89 on 26th March at Dorset County Hospital, where he was surrounded by his family. A loving husband to Ann; a wonderful father to son Andrew and his beloved daughter Wendy who sadly passed away a short time ago; a cherished grandfather to Emily, Eddie, Mia and Poppy, and a great friend to so many. The funeral service will take place on Friday 26th April at 1.00 pm at St Andrews Church, Preston. Dress code - feel free to wear colour. Everyone is welcome. Caring for Brain was an honour. He was the kindest and most charming man. Brian was always so fond of his family and I am grateful to have been involved in his care and to have built such a bond with Brian, Emily, Eddie, Andrew and of course Anne. Wishing you all so much love during this time. It was a pleasure and Brian will always be one to remember.

I knew Brian through my job. I found him to be an extremely likeable and knowledgeable man who was interested in local transport. I attended his retirement do and bumped into him and his wife occasionally, whilst shopping. He will be sadly missed.
