I was sad to hear of the recent passing of my old college friend David Ball. We sat next to each other through many an anatomy practical and we somehow managed to survive them. As he had been in the Army (National Sevice) and I came straight from school, I considered him much more worldly than I. He was a great friend and guide for me and will not be forgotten. RIP David.

Dave was a great neighbour extremely knowledgeable about many things including geology and astronomical matters. Always happy to chat with an ending of... see you later folks. He and his wife Jenny created many fond memories for me, Vanessa and Harry and Hector

David Ball and his family were good friends of our family and David worked alongside my father Peter Clarke-Williams for many years. David was held in high regard as a Veterinary surgeon and as an artist, and he will be sadly missed. Love to Jackie & Debbie and family. Fiona Gordon, Australia

Thank you David for a lifetime of encouragement in our chosen profession.
You were an example of a lateral thinker, prepared to try a logical but different treatment if ‘conventional’ ones were not achieving the complete healing required.
Thank you for the care and compassion you delivered to family, friends, patients and owners.
Miss you already - James C-W
