DE LA MARE John John passed peacefully to rest at his home on 1st. December 2023 aged 84 years. Beloved husband of Tessa. Loving father of Mark and Simon. Treasured grandad of Lara, Emily and Bria. The funeral service for John will take place at St. John's Church, Greenhill, Weymouth on Monday 18th. December 2023 at 11.00. a.m. followed by Private Cremation. Family flowers only please but donations, if desired, may be given to Tearfund c/o. Dennis Mould at Abbott & Rees Funeral Directors 247 Abbotsbury Road, Weymouth, DT4 0LY. Dear Tessa & family. I was so sorry to read of the death of John and send you my sincere condolences. ( Many years ago I worshipped at St. John’s when Rev. Page and Colin Turner were the Priests. ) I have since moved to Austria but remember with fondness your family and your contribution at St. John’s. R. I. P. John.
