CURIONI, Gianpiero "Piero" Formerly of La Gondola Restaurant, High East Street, Dorchester. Peacefully at home on 23rd September 2023, aged 77 years. Much loved partner of Mary, father of Sophia and Tamara, grandfather and great-grandfather. The funeral service will take place at St George's Church, Fordington on Monday 16th October at 1.00pm, followed by interment in Poundbury Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations if desired can be made payable to either Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance or British Heart Foundation and sent c/o Grassby Funeral Service, 8 Princes Street, Dorchester, DT1 1TW or online at www.grassby-funeral.co.ukTributes

I’m so sorry to hear this news. Sophia and Tamara we were at school together and later in work I knew your father. He’s was a lovely man and a well respected restaurateur. Thinking of you both and Mary at this difficult time, be kind to yourselves , Lorraine x

Uncle Piero, you were the smiliest and kindest uncle who always had a tale to tell and gave the biggest hugs. We had a wonderful childhood and you played a big part in that. We have so many great memories of La Gondola, and in the latter years with Mary, sharing experience in Leicestershire. You will be greatly missed and we loved you so much.
