STOPFORTH (JOYCE) Bessie Anne Passed away peacefully on Boxing Day 2022 at Signature House, aged 101 years. Much loved wife of the late Reg Joyce and Lou Stopforth, mother to Pat, Graham, Janet, Margaret and Robert, Stepmother to Eileen, David, Peter and Michael. Also loving mother-in-law, grandma, nanny, great grandma and great great grandma. Bessie will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. The family would like to issue a personal message of thanks to the staff at Signature House and at Maiden Castle House for their devoted care of Bessie. Bessie's funeral will take place at Weymouth Crematorium on Wednesday 1st February, at 11:30am. Family flowers only please but donations, if desired to British Heart Foundation and The Royal British Legion can be paid by cheques made payable to the individual charities and sent c/o Woods Funeral Services, 11a Icen Way, Dorchester, DT1 1EW.
