CROYDON John Rear Admiral John Croydon JP DL died peacefully in Dorchester on 19th July 2022 aged 93. He will be sorely missed by his family. After a distinguished Naval career, John became a JP and Deputy Lieutenant of Dorset as well as supporting many other local causes and continuing his close association with sailing. A private family committal will be held shortly. A Memorial Service to celebrate his life will be arranged at St Andrew's Church, Preston, in a few weeks. So sorry to hear of John`s death. My sincere condolences to the family. We were in touch some years ago as we have common family ancestors and we shared information. A very sad loss to our extended family tree. RIP, John, united with each and every one of them.
