THE impeccably pedigreed Baddest Blues Band make a welcome return visit to Dorchester next month with their exhilarating and thoroughly modern mix of blues and contemporary influences.
The band, which has been together for five years, combines to perform their own great originals with a sprinkling of classic songs by the likes of Ray Charles, Nina Simone and Willie Dixon.
The six-piece line-up creates a distinct and individual sound featuring expressive, sassy vocals from Zoe Schwarz, virtuoso guitar by Rob Koral, animated and charismatic harmonica played by Si Genaro, Pete Whittaker and his Hammond organ, supported by bassist Malcolm Creese and drummer Paul Robinson.
Catch the Baddest Blues Band at Dorchester Arts centre on October 8 at 8pm. Tickets are £8 plus concessions from 01305 266926.
