THE magic of the greatest musicals of all time comes to Weymouth next week bringing the glitz and the glamour from the West End stage and the bright lights of Broadway.

A Night of Musicals is an electrifying mix of musical showstoppers performed by West End stars and overseen by Michael Courtney, who was recently named UK Producer of The Year.

From the poignant Music Of The Night to the dramatic Do You Hear The People Sing?, this talented ensemble conjure stunning, high quality performances, which evoke the true spirit of the West End.

Pavilion complex manager Max Grayson said: “A Night of Musicals will provide a two-hour extravaganza of unforgettable musical numbers allowing you to enjoy the great moments of the classic shows in one evening complete with west end singers, dancing, spectacular lighting and glitzy costumes bringing a pure slice of entertainment.”

Transporting you on a whistle stop tour into the heart of London’s theatre land the show contains more than 20 of your favourite musicals such as Les Miserables, Phantom Of The Opera, Miss Saigon, West Side Story, The Sound Of Music, Spamalot, Wicked and many more musical classics.

The timeless melodies and unforgettable lyrics of some of the best-loved songwriters like Andrew Lloyd Webber, Tim Rice, Alan Boubil and Claude-Michael Schonberg are brought together with the stunning vocal talents of a cast of singers Michael Courtney, Tamsin Killen, Thomas Lloyd and Lorna Amy Sullivan. Michael Courtney made his professional debut as Joseph in the UK tour of Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

He has also starred as the lead in West Side Story, Oklahoma, has sung internationally working with likes of Gene Pitney and Harry Conick Junior and is well known to UK audiences having appeared in over twenty pantomimes up and down the country.

Tamsin Killen has played the lead in many Musicals such as Westside Story, Cabaret, Grease performed in the Cirque du Soleil and also appears as a guest solo performer on World class Cruise liners both British and American. Thomas Lloyd has just recently appeared in the UK tour Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and has performed in Copacabana, The Hot Mikado, Just So and Chess In Concert which was performed at the Royal Albert Hall.

Lorna Amy Sullivan made her debut in the UK tour Kosmic Crew and UK tours of Dreamboats and Petticoats Waterloo and Shakin All Over.

A Night of the Musicals is at Weymouth pavilion on September 20 at 7.30pm.
