FROM the team that brought last year’s Magic of Motown show to the Electric Palace comes another new production – celebrating 40 years of Abba.
Tomorrow, Abba Magic will perform million-sellers including Mamma Mia, Dancing Queen, Super Trouper, Waterloo and Winner Takes it All.
Now in its fabba-ulous 17th year, Abba Magic has entertained the nation for even longer than Bjorn, Agnetha, Benny and Frida did during the 70s and 80s.

Prepare yourself for the birthday party as the legendary That’ll Be The Day rocks up at Bournemouth Pavilion with their brand new Silver Anniversary Show.
Having delighted audiences throughout the UK for over two decades, this year sees That’ll Be The Day celebrating its 25th Anniversary with a Special Show combining over two hours of the show’s greatest hits from the 1950s, 60s and 70s.
Despite its unique position performing as many as 230 shows a year to capacity audiences across the UK, Trevor Payne who wrote and created the show back in 1987 and still directs, produces and stars in the production.
The show’s popularity has grown through word of mouth, and attracts audiences both young and old, who love coming to see the show, either because of the memories it evokes or the simple fact that it makes them feel good.
That’ll Be The Day is at the Bournemouth Pavilion on Sunday, May 29 at 7.45pm. Call the box office for details.
Looking ahead to next week, Bristol Old Vic theater school is bringing their lively adaptation of Tom Jones to Frampton village hall.
The title role is being played by three young graduates from the prestigious school and the show promises to be a storming and rumbustuous romp through the life of the young philanderer.
