ELECTRIC Comedy – Dorset’s biggest comedy club – brings the world’s hottest comedy stars to the stage of Bridport’s Electric Palace.
Previous guests have included Russell Howard, Lee Mack, Sean Hughes, Ardal O’Hanlon and many more.
For August, the Palace has landed yet another large comedy fish – Irish comedy star Ed Byrne.
As an observational stand-up, Irish megastar Ed Byrne is unrivalled.
He is a household name from regular appearances on Mock The Week, Have I Got News For You, Never Mind The Buzzcocks and barnstorming sets on Live At The Apollo.
Ed first captivated the critics in the mid-90s at the Edinburgh Festival, scooping up a fistful of awards.
Since then he has gone from strength to strength, selling out huge tours year after year and winning a devoted legion of fans the world over.
Don’t miss this chance to catch one of comedy’s biggest and best in an intimate venue that has a growing reputation for drawing some of the biggest names in music and comedy.
Joining Ed on the night is much-hyped Welsh newcomer Elis James, who was recently seen supporting Rhod Gilbert on his latest tour. The host will be the Palace’s yarn-spinning resident Canadian grizzly man Craig Campbell.
You can see Ed Byrne and support on Tuesday, August 3 at the Electric Palace in Bridport, doors open 7.30pm.
Tickets at £12.50 are available by calling the box office on 01308 424901 or calling into Bridport TIC.
