HOT on the heels of their UK tour and a sell-out Portesham gig, vibrant westcountry-based singer Julie Dunn and her band come to Gillingham School this week.
They go by the catchy name of Dunn, Horler, Dankworth & Coe and jazz fans will recognise those names as belonging to jazz maestros - pianist John Horler, bassist Alec Dankworth, Tony Coe on saxes and clarinet, and of course soulful singer Julie.
The evening promises an exciting blend of fresh new arrangements of well-loved jazz standards together with sensitive interpretations of some of the most beautiful ballads ever written.
You can see Dunn, Horler, Dankworth & Coe on Thursday, May 22 at 7:30pm in Gillingham School (call 01747 833844).
