ALBUM REVIEW
STEVIE NICKS
BELLA DONNA (DELUXE EDITION)
THOSE riffs on Edge of Seventeen certainly stand the test of time.
This is a remastered 3 CD set of Nicks' 1981 debut album and is a sumptuous serving of live and studio music.
The delicate Bella Donna gives way to the wounded and angry Stop Draggin' My Heart Around.
Remastering this classic album gives the guitar on How Still My Love a raw, sharper contrast to Nicks' growling, gorgeous vocals.
Little extra is added to tamer numbers like ballad Leather and Lace with Don Henley, but the surprise comes from some gems on a live CD with Nicks some Fleetwood Mac favourites, among them Rhiannon and Dreams.
Music that's even better to fall in love with second time around.
