THE Lyric Theatre in Bridport is the perfect setting to see Churchill, a one-man show by much-loved Pip Utton, known for his stunning portrayals of such figures as Chaplin, Dickens and Hitler.
Churchill takes us back as Big Ben chimes and strikes thirteen; a magical time when once a year for just over an hour the statues of great statesmen in Parliament Square, London, come alive again.
Winston Churchill descends from his plinth to indulge himself in three of his greatest pleasures; a glass of scotch, a cigar and listening to himself talk.
The show is on March 28 at 8pm and tickets are £10 from Bridport Arts Centre box office 01308 424204 or on the door of the Lyric on Friday evening.
