The Friends of Greenhill Gardens are hosting a Madhatter’s Tea Party on Sunday and invite families to pop along to the gardens, between 2-4pm, to enjoy a variety of free entertainment.
There’ll be crazy croquet with the Queen of Hearts, Royal Racing, games and competitions as well as special prizes for those who wear the maddest hats.
Barbara Dubben, Chair of the Group said: “The Madhatter and an array of characters from Alice in Wonderland will provide some magic and mayhem to keep the young ones entertained this Sunday.
“There are plenty of free activities for all the family to take part in, including the Human Fruit Machine, Find a Lollipop, the Penny Cup Game and, not forgetting, our fab prize tombola.”
Children are encouraged to wear a Mad Hat as there are prizes on offer for children up to 4, up to 9 and 10+. Judging will take place at 4pm.
