Budding snappers and artists are invited to enter a photography competition and art exhibition as part of an Arts and Flower Festival.
All Saints Church in Wyke Regis, Weymouth, is hosting the festival on September 25 and 26.
The photo competition is open to anyone who has access to a digital camera.
Entry is free and very simple:
1. Take a photo on the theme of ‘What does Weymouth mean to me?’
2. Submit your photo via https://www.parishofwykeregis.org.uk/weymouth-450
3. Winners’ photos will be displayed in All Saints church over the Festival weekend. There may be another prize too!
The Festival, which is part of this year’s Weymouth 450 celebrations, will also include a display of works by local artists on the theme of ‘Celebrating Weymouth 450’. Images or proposals should be sent to Artspace82@icloud.com.
Photos and art proposals must be received by Wednesday, September 1. Full details of the Festival can be found at the Parish of Wyke Regis website address above.
