CELEBRATING 20 years since their debut single hit the number one spot, The Twenty Tour will see pop idols Westlife perform together for the first time since 2012.
Now, cinema goers in Bournemouth and Poole will be able to join Shane, Nicky, Mark, and Kian at their sold-out Dublin show on Saturday, July 6, direct from their local cinemas.
The Twenty Tour is the band’s fastest selling tour of all time selling 400,000 tickets in just 48 hours. A spokesman for the band said they were particularly looking forward to performing Hello My Love on stage for the first time as well as classics including Flying Without Wings, Swear It Again and World of Our Own.
Westlife have sold over 55 million records worldwide and are the only band to have their first seven singles enter the UK chart at No.1. They also have the most singles of any artist to debut at No.1 in the UK. Overall the band have had 14 No.1 singles, behind only Elvis Presley and The Beatles. They have had 33 No.1 albums worldwide and as a live act have sold 5 million concert tickets worldwide.
A spokesman for the band said: “We feel that it will be the best show we’ve ever done. There will be a mix of new music and of course all the hits along with some amazing visuals. The show will lend itself so well to cinema and will allow people watching to feel like they are actually a part of it.
Westlife: The Twenty Tour Live from Croke Park, distributed by CinemaLive, will be broadcast at 8pm on Saturday, July 6 2019 at Odeon Bournemouth and Cineworld Poole.
