DORSET Police's No Excuse team were busy in Sherborne last week after seizing three cars.
The police team seized three cars on patrol on Sherborne on Friday, June 11.
Police seized their first car when they were en route to Sherborne. A white BMW (pictured) was stopped and it was discovered that the driver's insurance policy was cancelled. Police seized the man's car and he was issued a fixed penalty.
As soon as police arrived into Sherborne they then stopped a black Ford Focus. The driver was found to be a provisional licence holder only. They had no L plates on their car, were driving unsupervised and had no insurance. The car was seized and the driver was reported to court.
In the same day, a blue BMW came to the attention of the No Excuse team for doing 107mph in a 70mph zone. They found out that the driver was driving his wife's car and he was not on the insurance policy. The car was seized and the driver was reported to court.
Two other drivers were also issued fixed penalties for driving 93mph and 90mph in a 70mph zone.
