A POLISH deli which was hit with a one-star hygiene rating from inspectors has addressed all major issues in the report following an inspector's revisit.
Polish Delicatessen on King Street, Weymouth was given a damning report and a low hygiene rating after health inspectors looked at the establishment in March.
A recent update reveals that the deli is now complying with the matters addressed in the inspector's report and it has now requested to be re-scored to see if they can change their low rating.

A one on the hygiene rating scale indicates that 'major improvement is necessary' to improve the establishment's hygiene standards.
One of the main reasons for the deli's low score was because raw and ready-to-eat meat was stored together on top of each other - something the inspector said was likely to cause food poisoning.
Inspectors said they had 'little confidence in the management' after this inspection.
However, an update has just been made following a revisit to the deli made by inspectors in April.
A spokesman for Dorset Council said: "At the revisit on April 14 all major issues were addressed. The owner has now requested a re-score visit."
The council needs to conduct another full inspection to award a new rating.
