COMPULSORY PURCHASE OF LAND AT 11 HIGH STREET
FORTUNESWELL PORTLAND DORSET
Notice is hereby given that The Weymouth and Portland Borough Council has made The Weymouth and Portland Borough Council (11 High Street Fortuneswell) Compulsory Purchase Order 2015 under Section of 17 of the Housing Act 1985. It is about to submit this order to the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government for confirmation, and if confirmed, the order will authorise The Weymouth and Portland Borough Council to purchase compulsorily the land described below for the purpose of securing its improvement to bring it into housing use and provide residential accommodation.
A copy of the order and of the accompanying map may be seen at all reasonable hours at The Offices for Weymouth and Portland Borough Council at Council Offices, North Quay, Weymouth, Dorset DT4 8TA.
Any objection to the order must be made in writing to the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government at 5 St Philips Place, Colmore Row, Birmingham B3 2PW before Monday 13th July 2015 and should state the title of the order, the grounds of objection and the objector's address and interests in the land.
DESCRIPTION OF LAND
All interests in land and buildings forming 11 High Street, Fortuneswell, Portland, Dorset DT5 1JQ. Such land comprising of approximately 85.27 square metres and shown coloured red on the above mentioned map.
