Application to vary a premises licence

LICENSING ACT 2003
Application has been made by Marston's PLC to the Licensing Authority of West Dorset District Council to vary the Premises Licence for the Junction Hotel at Great Western Road, Dorchester, Dorset, DT1 1UF. The application includes the following terms:- 1. To bring forward the commencement hour for the sale of alcohol and all other licensable activities Monday to Thursday to 10:00 hours and Friday to Saturday to 09:00 hours and the opening hour to 08:00 hours daily, 2. To extend the terminal hour for the sale of alcohol and all other licens­able activities on Friday and Saturday to 03:00 hours and the terminal hour until 03:30 hours. 3. To add nor standard timings on Bank Holiday Sundays and Christmas Eve and to extend existing non standard timings on Bank Holidays and to extend all licensing hours on the commence­ment of British Summertime to replace the hour lost. 4. To remove a condition as more particularised in the application. 5. To include the residential exemption. A responsible authority or any other person can make written representa­tions to the Licensing Authority at any time up to and including 9 April 2015 (www.dorsetforyou.com). It is an offence for anyone knowing­ly or recklessly to make a false state­ment in connection with a Licence Application. The maximum fine on summary conviction is £5000.00.
