A manhunt continues after a man was stabbed in Weymouth on Saturday evening, Dorset police has confirmed

Dorset Police has confirmed that an investigation remains underway and that 'no arrests' have been made regarding the assault on Canberra Road, in Littlemoor, on Saturday, May 4.

The attack saw a man in his 30s taken to hospital for treatment for serious, but non life threating injuries.

A second victim, a woman aged, also aged in her 30s sustained an injury to her hand and was also treated at hospital.

It led to a huge police response on the night as armed police responded along with several response cars and ambulances.

A police helicopter was also called into action and was seen scouring the neighbourhood for the offender.

Roads around the Littlemoor estate were blocked off as a forensic examination of the crime scene was carried out and the injured were treated.

A police cordon was set up the following day around the property where the offence took place with an officer stationed outside.
