From Ted Lasso actress Hannah Waddingham to Netflix's Fool Me Once star Michelle Keegan, rumours have already begun circulating about who is going to take part in BBC's Strictly Come Dancing 2024.
Former Coronation Street star Ellie Leach won Strictly Come Dancing 2023 back in December with professional partner Vito Coppola.
Leach featured in the final with other celebrities Bobby Brazier (EastEnders) and Layton Williams (Bad Education).
While Strictly Come Dancing won't return to BBC for the new series until autumn, the rumour mill has already begun as to who will be taking part in 2024.
Hannah Waddingham 'in talks' to join Strictly Come Dancing 2024
Ted Lasso and Game of Thrones star Hannah Waddingham is the latest name to be linked with Strictly Come Dancing 2024.
Last year the 49-year-old co-hosted the Eurovision Song Contest with Graham Norton and Alesha Dixon before performing at the Royal Variety Performance where she was described by viewers as "the best act of the night".
Already in 2024 she has performed at the BAFTA's and now, according to The Mirror, is in talks with the BBC to appear on Strictly.
A source, speaking to the news outlet, said: "Hannah would be an incredible signing for Strictly this year, and so far things are looking very positive.
"She loves the show - she has heard so much about it from Anton and Hannah, as she is a close friend to both - and is keen to do it.
"It’s just a question of whether or not it’s possible to fit it into her schedule - obviously it’s a very big commitment, and she is incredibly in demand at the moment."
The source added: "Hannah is fast approaching national treasure status, and the Strictly bosses know she’d be a smash hit with fans.
"So they are doing everything they can to make it work on their side, and hoping that they can encourage her to sign on the dotted line - it would be a real coup for them to get her on board.”
