YEOVIL 0
DORCHESTER 78
DORCHESTER gave their supporters an early Christmas present with a 12-try demolition of struggling Yeovil in the Counties One Tribute Southern South.
Dorchester were on top right from the off and within five minutes flanker George Foot was first to get his name on the scoreboard.
This was quickly followed by Jamie Morgan running the length of the pitch and touching down between the posts.
Scrum-half Jack Hayward then went over for try number three before Freddie Charles, making a rare appearance, added two further tries.
The half came to a close with winger Matt Fry scoring number six. Cohen Emery and Jamie Morgan between them converted four of the tries and Dorchester led 38-0 at the break.

The second half continued in similar fashion with Yeovil hardly ever entering Dorchester’s 22.
Charles showed his pace again to complete his hat-trick. Then Brad Mullins, captain for the game, powered his way over for number eight.
Jack Adams, on as a replacement following injury, touched down within minutes of his arrival.
Matt Fry added his second score before number eight Henry Quinney, in only his second first-team appearance, capped an outstanding personal performance getting the touchdown at the base of a driving line-out.
Billy Sharpe was the final try scorer as the referee brought proceedings to a close a few minutes early with several Yeovil players down injured.
The result moves Dorchester up one place in the table to seventh, with their next game against bottom side Avonvale.
Dorchester’s coaching team will hope that the morale boosting win will set the county town outfit up for a good run in the new year, and the injury list shortens to boost depth in the senior squad.
The side now need to string together a good set of results to move into the top half of the table.
Dorchester’s squad are widely accepted to have the talent and now need to build the belief and rely on the unity within to work hard in the second half of the season.
Meanwhile, Dorchester’s A team travelled to Oakmeadians for their Counties Three Tribute Dorset & Wilts South clash but came away without any points, going down 27-7 to the Bournemouth-based outfit, leaving them eighth in the standings.
Their next fixture will no doubt be hotly contested, against second-placed Puddletown, with the villagers having the home advantage this time out.
