CUSTOMERS have been trying out Weymouth's newest bar in the town centre.
Staff held an opening night party and have since been welcoming people into the Barracuda bar in St Thomas Street.
The South African-themed pub re-opened after a £1.25 million refurbishment of the former Old Rectory pub. New owners The Barracuda Group said it has a robust business plan to enable it to operate successfully throughout the year - including the lean winter months. Manager Charles Doig said he had no doubt Weymouth was an ideal place to open the 23rd Barracuda bar in the country.
