CORFE Hills School's production of Fiddler on the Roof opens tonight at Poole Arts Centre.
The moving yet humorous story of the failed attempts of milkman, Tevye, to keep his family together in a time of change in his small Russian village, Anatevka, is full of well-known tunes such as Matchmaker, Sunrise Sunset and, of course, the hit If I Were A Rich Man.
School head of drama Pete Talman directs this production, in which Tevye is played by 14-year-old Robin Hemmings.
Robin took on the role after the sixth-former who had originally been in the part had to withdraw because of the pressures of work.
