Dramatic pictures show the remains of a van that burst into flames near Dorchester this morning.
The van caught fire in Cuckoo Lane just off the A35 Puddletown bypass just before 11am.
One crew from Dorchester Fire Station tackled the blaze on the road side using two hose reel jets.
Two firefighters also had to wear specialist breathing equipment as they put the flames out.
Once the fire was put out only the shell of the van remained with it completely destroyed by the flames.
A spokesperson for Dorchester Fire Station said: "At approximately 10.42am today a crew from Dorchester on call was mobilised to a small vehicle fire in Cuckoo Lane just off of the Puddletown bypass.
