Stars from a popular sci-fi show will be reuniting in Weymouth to star in a stage adaptation of a classic detective story.

Colin Baker and Terry Molloy, who played mortal enemies the Doctor and Davros respectively in Doctor Who, will now be returning as detective duo Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson.

They will be starring in Crime and Comedy Theatre Company's stage adaptation of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s The Hound of the Baskervilles.

Dee Sadler also joins the cast as Doctor Mortimer, along with Kate Ashmead as Mrs Barrymore and Martin Parsons as Jack Stapleton, who is also the director of the play.

Audiences will get to experience a radio-play-on-stage where the actors will be seen in a radio studio as if they were ready for a broadcast.

This production was originally staged in 2022 to commemorate the 120th anniversary of the book’s publication.

The show will be returning to the Weymouth Pavilion on Thursday, April 18 at 7.30pm.
