The National Trust's head of countryside management will give a talk after a local trust’s AGM.

The Golden Cap Association, the West Dorset branch of the National Trust, is holding its AGM next week.

It will take place on Monday, March 25 at 2.30pm in the United Church Hall on East Street in Bridport.

Following the meeting, the association is welcoming a special guest speaker, Rob Rhodes to give a talk on The National Trust - the next five to 10 years.

This talk will delve into the new strategy and future direction of the charity, using photographs.

Mr Rhodes is the head of countryside management and rangers for the National Trust, covering England, Wales and Northern Ireland. He was the former countryside manager for the West and North Dorset National Trust.

Anyone interested is invited to attend and entry is free for members of the Golden Cap Association.
