A CLASSIC car set on fire in west Dorset.
Firefighters from Charmouth tackled a fire in the engine bay of the Citroën DS at around 4pm on Saturday, March 16.
The car caught fire on a driveway on Pound Lane in Monkton Wyld.
The classic car is a model which was manufactured between 1955 and 1975.
A spokesperson for Charmouth Fire Station said: "On arrival, the engine bay was well alight.
"Crews got to work in breathing apparatus utilising a hose reel jet and a thermal imaging camera.
"It is so sad to see such a beautiful old car damaged."
