A medical emergency in Weymouth sparked a large emergency response.
Emergency services rushed to the aid of a man in need of medical attention on Weymouth Esplanade.
Police, coastguard and ambulance crews all attended the incident, and the man was eventually left in the care of the ambulance service.
A spokesperson for Wyke Coastguard Rescue Team said: “We were tasked at 12.48pm on Monday to a medical incident on Weymouth seafront.
“On arrival the casualty was being attended to by Weymouth and Portland Police. We stood by until the casualty was safely on route to hospital.”
A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) said: “We were called at 12:23pm on to an incident on The Esplanade, Weymouth. We sent a double-crewed land ambulance.”
