Firefighters were called to extinguish a car engulfed in flame yesterday evening.
At approximately 9.30pm last night (Friday, May 26) a crew from Dorchester Fire Station was mobilised to reports of a car fire on the A37 in the Stratton area just outside of Dorchester.
A spokesperson for Dorchester Fire Station said: "Whilst on route we received further information from our fire control to say that they are receiving multiple calls and that the vehicle was well alight.
"Crews used two hosereel jets and breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire."
