Fire crews were called to a telehandler that had caught fire this morning.
At approximately 8.45am this morning, Saturday, May 6, crews from Dorchester, Wareham, and Poole Fire Station responded to reports of a telehandler on fire in the Affpuddle area.
The fire was extinguished using hose reel jets.
There are no reported injuries and the last crew departed at around 9.45am.
A spokesperson from Wareham Fire Station said: "Firefighters quickly tackle the blaze and the fire was out within minutes."
A telehandler, also known as a telescopic handler, is similar to a forklift but with different attachments and is most commonly used to carry heavy loads.
