One person has been taken to hospital following a "medical incident" near to Weymouth town centre.
The incident, shortly after 2pm on Friday, prompted a major emergency response on Commercial Road, Weymouth.
A number of emergency service vehicles were in attendance with ambulance and police crews at the scene.
An air ambulance was also deployed.
One person was taken to Dorset County Hospital, Dorchester, by land ambulance.
A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) said: “We were called at 14:08hrs to an incident in Weymouth. We sent an air ambulance, two double-crewed land ambulances and an operations officer and conveyed one patient by land ambulance to Dorset County Hospital.”
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "We received a report at 2.09pm on Friday 19 August 2022 of a medical incident in Commercial Road in Weymouth.
"Officers attended with the ambulance service."
