Two cars in Holton Heath have been left burnt out following a fire.
It was one of three incidents that Wareham Fire Station responded to yesterday afternoon.
Crews were appearing at Wareham Carnival when they were first called to a garage fire.
A spokesperson for Wareham Fire Station said two "lovely cars" had been destroyed as a result and added: "Sorry we couldn't stay at the (carnival) but that's the line of our work we are in".
Meanwhile the UniMog - a multi-terrain firefighting vehicle that allows fire services to reach remote and rural location - responded to "a fire in the open" in Corfe Mullen.
After that crews attended a call-out in Bovington after reports of smoke - thankfully a false alarm this time.
