FIREFIGHTERS in Dorset responded to reports of a car ablaze in the north of the county this morning, with a road closed as a result.
A crew from Shaftesbury Fire Station were called out to a reported vehicle fire in the town just after 10am in Beaufoy Close.
A spokesperson for Dorset Fire and Rescue Service said: “At 10.13am Shaftesbury Fire Station responded to reports of a car fire on Beaufoy Close.
“The road is currently closed for the safety of crews at King Alfred's Way.
“Two breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet in use.”
