POLICE, paramedics and the air ambulance have been in attendance at a medical incident in Weymouth this morning.
Concerns were raised for the welfare of a woman in need of medical attention at an address in Abbotsbury Road, near the junction of Holly Road, around 9.12am, police say.
Police and ambulance crews attended, with police also helping clear The Marsh playing fields so the air ambulance could land.
A police spokesman said: "Dorset Police received a report at 9.12am on Tuesday July 20 raising concern for the welfare of a woman at an address in Abbotsbury Road in Weymouth.
"Officers attended and located a woman in need of medical attention.
"The ambulance service also attended the scene and officers assisted in clearing The Marsh playing fields for the arrival of the air ambulance.
"The woman was left in the care of the ambulance service."
