A MAN has died following a medical incident in a residential area of Weymouth.
Dorset Police was called to assist paramedics at 4.01pm on Sunday afternoon (October 4) following reports of a medical incident at an address on Abbotsbury Road.
Police vehicles were parked along Abbotsbury Road and Holland Road as they responded to the incident.
A man, aged in his 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene. A spokesman for Dorset Police confirmed the incident is not being treated as suspicious and his family has been informed.
He said: “Dorset Police received a report from the ambulance service at 4.01pm on Sunday, October 4 2020 requesting assistance in relation to a medical incident in Abbotsbury Road in Weymouth.
“Officers attended and very sadly a man aged in his 40s was pronounced dead at the scene. The death is not being treated as suspicious and his family has been informed.
“Our thoughts are with them at this difficult time.”
