A man was treated by paramedics after suffering a medical emergency at a Weymouth cafe.
The owner of Thyme Out Cafe in Great George street said a customer suffered a 'fit' inside the premises.
Two ambulances attended, whilst crowds gathered outside on the street as paramedics tend to the casualty inside the building.
Meanwhile the air ambulance landed on nearby Weymouth Beach.
A spokesman for the ambulance service said: "South Western Ambulance Service was called at 11.20am about a medical incident on George Street, Weymouth.
"We dispatched land and air ambulance crews to the incident. They treated a male patient at the scene and transported him to hospital in a serious condition."
A polce spokesman said: "Dorset Police received a report at 11.41am on Wednesday July 15 requesting assistance with traffic control as the ambulance responded to an incident in the area of St Thomas Street in Weymouth. Officers assisted at the scene."
