A liquid nitrogen leak at an industrial estate sparked an emergency response.
Firefighters from Portland, Dorchester and Bridport were called to the Ultra site at Granby Industrial Estate, Weymouth, at 10am yesterday.
Bridport’s water carrier was mobilised along with appliances from Portland and Dorchester fire stations.
On scene, crews found a leak coming from a large liquid nitrogen storage cylinder.
Engineers from the company were contacted and requested to attend.
The tank was later made safe and the crews stood down.
