A tractor on fire triggered an emergency response - but has been completely destroyed by fire.
A spokesman for Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said they were called at around approximately 9:36am, with reports of a tractor on fire at a farm at Watercombe.
"Two crews from Dorchester attended, but the tractor was well alight upon arrival", they said.
"Crews got to work with two breathing apparatus wearers and two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire and protect the surrounding crops from further fire spread."
Crews are now damping down the area.
