A TEENAGE boy was found dead on Wednesday morning.
Dorset Police received reports of the sudden death of a 17-year-old boy in Furzehill at around 11.20am.
It is not known how the boy died, but a spokesperson for Dorset Police confirmed the death was not being treated as suspicious.
The boy, who has not been named, is understood to be a former pupil of Queen Elizabeth's School in Wimborne.
A spokesperson for the school declined to comment about the ex-student's death.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "At 11.21am on Wednesday, July 17, Dorset Police received a report of a sudden death of a 17-year-old boy in Furzehill near Wimborne. His next of kin have been informed and the coroner notified."
