A car fire spread to a house during the early hours of this morning.
One fire crew was initially called to the vehicle fire at Mountain Ash Road, Dorchester at around 2am - however as soon as officers arrived on they called for backup, and two further fire engines attended the scene.
Dorset Fire & Rescue said the blaze spread to the house next door.
Teams worked through the early hours to extinguish the flames, before ventilating the affected property and leaving the site at around 3.30am.
More details in tomorrow's paper.
