Firefighters were called to the scene of a car that had caught fire, leaving one person with burn injuries.
At around 9.45pm on Monday (23), one pump from Swanage fire station was mobilised to a report of a vehicle fire on the B3351 between Corfe Castle and Studland.
On arrival the crew found a car that had caught fire, though the occupant had extinguished the blaze by time of arrival. The vehicle was moved to a safe area and the battery was disconnected.
Firefighters gave first aid to a casualty with burns to their legs; the casualty was left in the care of the ambulance service.
